2011 NBA Mock Draft: All 30 Picks, Milwaukee Bucks Taking Alec Burks

2011 NBA Mock Draft Gives Milwaukee Bucks Alec Burks With No. 10 Overall Pick

Milwaukee is not as bad as their record would seem to indicate. I don?t think that they are a playoff team yet, but they do have some pieces that they can really build around. They have to find some explosiveness from somewhere because they were awful on the offensive side of the ball last season.

Alec Burks is a bit of a sleeper pick in this draft thanks to a good combination of athleticism, scoring ability and basketball knowledge. He isn?t a great shooter, which will cause him problems, but if he can attack the rim like he did in college he will be a great value pick at No. 10.

Burks could jump up draft boards with a good workout, but for the Bucks? sake they hope that no one else falls in love with all of the things that he brings to the table.

Andrew Bogut and Brandon Jennings are good, but they need help for this franchise to move out of the lottery in 2011-12.

Pro Potential: Burks is an athletic shooting guard who can attack the rim as well as any player in this draft. He needs to improve his jump shot if he wants to be more than a role player in the NBA.

Need: Milwaukee has plenty of defense, but they lack any kind of offensive firepower. Burks is a sleeper in this draft thanks to his combination of speed and athleticism. If he finds a consistent shot, he will be great value with the No. 10 pick.
