Tampa Bay Buccaneers Send out a Call, They Need Your Help

I saw the caller ID Friday.

Who's calling from One Buccaneer Place?

It's a hard number to forget: 870-2700. It's been that number since 1976, 2700 because the Bucs were the 27th NFL franchise.

Surely this had to be Raheem Morris, or even Mark Dominik calling.

Surely they had read our amazing wall-to-wall draft coverage, no question, no doubt.

Alas, in a return to reality, no Raheem, no Mark. It was a young fresh voice, a guy from South Jersey named Dave Leutwyler and he needs your help. He's in the ticket sales department and although there are no players hanging around, the push is on, they need you in those stands, need you there to holler for Josh Freeman, Mike Williams and if need be, you can always boo Barrett Ruud.

Forgive Leutwyler for being an Eagles fan—he doesn't know any better, yet. But he'll convert, no doubt, once Raheem Morris finds out.

Rah has a way with things like that. Rah can turn non-believers into believers. Heck, look what he did with this team last year. Which leads us to the 2011 season.

Leutwyler assured me there would be a full season and it would make us feel a lot better if he was there on the owners' negotiating team with that attitude.

He's not; he's manning the phones in a very polite, convincing manner, pointing out some of those great home games this season.

He says now's the time to make your move.

You can sit in the upper deck, on the 20-yard line, and those are nice seats, for $468 for the nine-game package of seven regular-season games and two (they don't count) exhibitions. No seat deposits, no contracts, just buy 'em for this season. That's simple enough, isn't it?

If that's still too steep, here's the way you get those coveted $35 seats. You basically can't find 'em once the season starts, but Dave has some for you now. It's $315 for the nine-game package.

Bet you can also work out a payment plan as well.

It's a good deal and now's the time to make your move.

To arms! To arms! The Cowboys are coming! No, he won't ride a horse around town making that declaration, but it's our patriotic (did we mentions the Patriots?) duty to give Dave, Raheem and Mark a helping hand.

So pull out your credit card and give Dave a call. You can reach him at 870-2700 ext. 2277, and that's area code 813 if you're outside Tampa.

Dave will help you. You can also ask him questions. If you want to drop him an email, it's

DLeutwyler@Buccaneers.com.

Give him a call—he may even have some inside info for you.

Wonder what Raheem's up to these days?
