2011 NFL Draft: Could Tampa Bay End Up with Da'Quan Bowers?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Draft: Knee injury is causing great concern:

Da'Quan Bowers just keeps getting bad news about the way teams feel about his surgically repaired right knee. He missed the NFL Scouting Combine because of it and then failed to impress at his pro day. He's been sliding for over a month now.

However, Peter King of Sports Illustrated believes that Detroit could scoop Bowers up at 13th overall. If they don't, he could keep on sliding. Could he slide all way to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 20th overall?

The Bucs would love to add a defensive end of Bowers' ability to their edge rush rotation. If Bowers can regain strength and confidence in his knee, he can return to the explosiveness that helped him lead the nation with 15 sacks last season.

Bowers' medical re-check last weekend didn't go very well and at least one team doctor thinks he'll need microfracture surgery. Tampa Bay is going to have to be very comfortable with Bowers knee and will need 19 other teams to be uncomfortable with it for them to pick the end.
