The one thing that people often forget about Shane Mosley is that he can punch. In his early battles with Oscar De La Hoya it was Shane's lightening hand speed that made the difference and often fans think that a fighter with fast hands isn't necessarily a big puncher. In Sugar Shane's case they would be wrong. As Antonio Margarito found out a couple of years ago, and Floyd Mayweather, Jr. found out in the second round of his bout with Mosley last spring, the dude packs a wallop. Mosley wasn't able to follow up on Money May last spring but he certainly made it interesting for a few moments.
The question on Saturday night is if he can land that big shot against Manny. Pacquiao is definitely more hittable than PBF, but he has also shown the ability to take a punch in the second half of his career. Still no one as big and Mosley has really caught Manny with a clean shot so it will be interesting to see what happens if Sugar Shane catches him with one.
