NBA Playoffs 2011: Game 3 a Must Win for the Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are in desperate need of a victory after losing the first two games of the series.

No player on their roster is averaging more than 16 per game or seven rebounds during the series.

Boston is giving up 100.5 points per game, uncharacteristic for such a solid defensive crew. The perimeter D for the C's has been dismal, proven by the Heat's 45.7 percent three-point shooting clip during the first two games of the series.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are running all over the Celtics defense, putting up 28.5 and 33 points a game, respectively.

So defense is the number one priority if the Celtics want to remain alive in the postseason. Their usual stifling D has been absent, and Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen must step up if they want to win this series. The C's must do so, however, with a banged up Rondo, Paul Pierce, and Allen.

The Celtics must win Game Three to remain competitive, no questions asked.
