2011 NFL Draft: Is Atlanta Considering Trading from 27th Overall?

Atlanta Falcons Draft: Plenty of value from 20th on in the first round:

Atlanta general manager Thomas Dimitroff came to the Falcons from the New England Patriots in 2008 after helping build the the Patriot empire through NFL Draft mastery. Atlanta has seen some similar results, notably by picking quarterback Matt Ryan third overall in 2008.

Dimitroff has brought the same comfort and philosophy of late-first-round drafting that he used at New England, reports ESPN's Pat Yaskinskas.

Dimitroff told Yasinskas that he believes in the value of where the Falcons are and the picks that surround them. He's not shy about the possibility of trading up or down a few spots to get an eyed prospect or back up to where they can still get their man.

With such depth at defensive end in this draft and Atlanta presumably putting an emphasis on that position, a little jockeying that ends in the Falcons still getting a quality edge rusher and an additional pick later in the draft would be heady drafting.
