In this weekend's NBA action the eighth-seeded Memphis Grizzlies stole Game 1 in San Antonio, an impressive performance from Chris Paul and the Hornets helped take down the second-seed Lakers team at Staples Center, and the New York Knicks came within 12 seconds of sealing a victory on the road against the Boston Celtics.
Talk about a mouthful.
With numerous down-to-the-wire games and impressive team play from the underdog teams of the postseason, it can be presumed that the 2011 NBA playoffs will be a good one to say the least. Whether or not the impressive play from these "lesser talented" teams will keep up.
There are some questions need to be answered.
Is the front court tandem of Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph for real? With no David West, are Chris Paul and the Hornets deep enough to continue to beat the Lakers? If Carmelo Anthony comes to play, can the Knicks take down the reigning Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics?
Join B/R and myself in analyzing whether these underdogs have what it takes to move past the "big dogs" in each conference.
