Whoa there captain, the talent level on the show most certainly has NOT improved from season to season. In fact, given the exploits of those earlier casts, you could argue the fighters were never better than they were in the initial offerings.
Of course, the competitors have probably gotten younger and less experienced, which means we still need to give them time to hit their full potential.
Nevertheless, check the series? Wikipedia page and you can see the most notable successes have come out of Seasons 1-4. The most recent installments have featured superlative coaching talent and a handful of up-and-comers who could foreseeably make big waves in their respective divisions.
But they?ve also been populated by some relative incompetents or clowns who really had no interest in the non-reality television aspects of the show i.e. they wanted to get their faces on television and act the fool to try to extend their 15 minutes.
