Former Steelers running back Jerome Bettis has been able to do something Tiki Barber was never able to do as a member of the media?keep his peers' respect.
When Bettis says he's disappointed in James Harrison, that carries some weight to it. And disappointed, Bettis is.
?It?s disappointing to hear some of the comments he made about his teammates because this is a team game,? Bettis said on NFL Network. ?It?s not an offense against defense type situation. It?s a team and you?ve got to go out there and compete as a team.?
And that's putting it mildly. Unfortunately it would be hypocritical for a player to bash Harrison openly for what he said, instead the Steelers organization and/or the NFL should sit him down for at least four games.
