Some news that came in from Indianapolis today: SG Brandon Rush will miss at least the next two weeks with a sprained right ankle.
Rush suffered this injury in Wednesday night's loss to the Orlando Magic. This will just give more minutes to AJ Price, Paul George, and Mike Dunleavy. Rush was already seeming to work his way out of Jim O'Brien's rotation. That actually isn't hard to do, it just depends on what day of the week it is, and what Jim had for lunch that day.
The Pacers have been relatively healthy all season long. Granger missed a couple of games early with a sprained ankle, and Jeff Foster has had some back problems here and there, but all in all, they have been one of the healthiest teams in the league.
Rush has struggled since an early surge, averaging 5.5 points on .407 shooting in the last six games, and 8.5 points on .392 shooting in the last 17. Overall, he is the Pacers' fifth-leading scorer, and most accurate three-point shooter.
Indiana is looking to snap a six-game losing streak. They have a home game against the New Jersey Nets on Friday night, before making a short trip up to Chicago on Saturday night to face the Bulls.
