National Signing Day 2011: Ranking All 120 Recruiting Classes After Signing Day

National Signing Day is the most exciting day in the off-season for any sport. Fans, coaches and players all across the country are glued on the television to see what recruit goes where.

This has to be the only day where fax machines are relevant, as coaches eagerly awaited National Letters' of Intent.

First, a couple housekeeping notes about this ranking. These are the rankings from Scout.com, updated Thursday morning. The majority of the players have signed their National Letter of Intent so the majority of this list is solidified.

Rivals and ESPN both have class rankings that are very well done, but for the purposes of this I stuck with Scout. At the end of the day, you will choose the recruiting site which ranks your team the highest.

There are a couple of big name recruits, Jadeveon Clowney being the main one, that has yet to announce his decision. Once Clowney makes his decision, expect some changes at the very top of these rankings.

Cyrus Kouandjio, one of the best and top OL recruits in the country announced he was going to Auburn on Signing Day. However, as of now he has not sent his LOI to Gene Chizik. Auburn's spot in this ranking reflects Kouandjio going to Auburn.

The SEC is not only the most dominant conference on the football playing field, but on the recruiting field as well. Every SEC team is ranked in the top 45 (including Vanderbilt), and 10 of the teams are in the top 25. That is incredible, this cannot be said about any conference, and it isn't even close.

The states of California, Florida, Texas and Georgia produced the best talent and the rankings reflect that teams who dominated these states are near the top of the rankings.

Here is the ranking of the 120 Division I football teams after Signing Day.
