Monday Night Football Schedule 2011: Ranking All MNF Games Next Season

Monday Night Football Schedule 2011 is headed our way in just a few hours, slated to be released at 7 p.m. EST on NFL Network along with the rest of the 2011 NFL schedule.

Of course, with all our heads buzzing about who will play who (barring an extended lockout), it's never too early to start speculating which teams will be pitted against each other on Monday nights.

Given the rousing rivalry of the New York Jets and New England Patriots, you would have to think they would match up again in 2011 on MNF.

Last season, the Patriots bombed the Jets, 45-3, on Monday Night Football, but fell to the Jets in the AFC divisional round of the playoffs.

You've also got to throw the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears into the mix, a historic rivalry that saw the Packers defeat the Bears in the NFC Championship Game last season on their way to a Super Bowl ring.

I'd also like to see the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers go at it on MNF, two smashmouth football teams that always seem to play each other close.

And you've got to schedule the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants after DeSean Jackson all but dashed the Giants' playoff hopes when he ran back a punt for touchdown to win the game in the closing seconds in December.

Plenty to talk about leading up to the schedule release and beyond.

Follow along after the (page) break, fellow football fans.
