Meredith Vieira Talks About Her People Magazine Cover and Leaving 'Today' (VIDEO)

People magazine has an exclusive interview and photo shoot with Meredith Vieira this week covering her family life and decision to leave 'Today' (weekdays, 7AM on NBC). Ann Curry asked her about it on Wednesday morning's show, complimenting her on the photos and asking Vieira about the discussion between her and her husband Richard in the interview about leaving the show.

"It was very much a family decision," said Vieira. "It had to do with the fact that, you know, right now we're both in good health and want to enjoy ourselves and have a little more flexibility in our lives. But it's still, it's one week from today, and my heart's breaking here, too."
