NBA Finals 2011: LeBron James Will Not Find Redemption By Winning Title

2011 NBA Finals: Is LeBron James Still a Villain?

Has there been a more hated figure in sports over the past decade than LeBron James?

We can even extend that search back into the 90?s and 80?s.

Heck, I?ll even go all-time on this bad boy.

I believe that LeBron James is one of the biggest villains that the world of sports has ever seen. I also think that he deserves all the hate he gets, and believe me he gets plenty of it.

Ever since the infamous ?decision? LeBron has taken on a very negative role in the media and in the national spotlight, and he has even cast that shadow onto the Miami Heat.

Many people think that it Miami wins the title this year James will find validation and redemption through it, but I cannot disagree more.

The Heat were assembled for one purpose and one purpose only, and that is to win multiple championships.

Anything less than that is going to be disappointing and anything less than that is going to make LeBron look even worse.

You don?t publically humiliate and destroy your hometown and team just to win one championship.

LeBron knew that the stakes were high when he left Cleveland, so if he thinks everything will just disappear with a ring on his finger than he is horribly mistaken.

Now, don?t get me wrong I do think that a ton of pressure will be lifted off of his shoulders, but his status as an NBA all-time great and a winner will still be in question.

Anybody can win a title on the team that he constructed, so he still has to prove that he is not just another guy to win the title.

If he wants to be the king, he?s gotta win like one.
