Queens Park Rangers and West Brom are in a battle to sign former England international Andy Johnson from Fulham.
According the Daily Mail, QPR have been told they'll need to stump up 4 million for the striker.
The 30-year-old Johnson also has a wage bill of 40,000/week to cover, which could be enough to put them off.
West Brom are also hovering with intent, as they look to build on an impressive first campaign back in the EPL last season.
Premier League new boys QPR will clearly need to strengthen if they are to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
